BATCAT Investor and partner overview Reviewable public draft v0.6 - 7 October 2026 THE PROPOSITION BatCat is the cat-focused product within Companion AI. It is being developed to combine a personal AI Advocate, a connected wearable kit and an owner app. The product hypothesis is that characterful conversation, useful care organisation and connected observations can earn a place in an owner's daily life. The Advocate has its own personality and selected voice. It responds using authorized records and available evidence. Its speech and expressive meows do not translate a cat's thoughts or prove its feelings. The current owner assistant uses voice-only controls for focused care and setup; wearable delivery is intended to be more characterful. Veterinary diagnosis and emergency response are not established services. THE PLANNED KIT AND SERVICE Each cat is planned to have two complete interchangeable devices: one worn, one charging. The cat's identity, voice and history persist independently of the hardware. Screenless operation and waterproofing are requirements; finished-device fit, mass, endurance and ingress performance need testing. Basic aims for the lowest practical cost while preserving the shared product scope. Intermediate aims to improve device specifications. High-End is the premium direction. Higher tiers do not reserve core capabilities for premium buyers. No final device specifications or certified performance are published here. Affordable hardware with an ongoing BatCat connectivity and service subscription is the commercial direction. Customer research, measured use and current supplier quotations must inform the offer. Retail prices, subscription allowances, carrier arrangements and launch dates remain open. DEMONSTRATED PROTOTYPE: DEFINED SCOPE - Human-tested Android wake, reply and follow-up conversations, including short locked-screen trials. Current phone microphone reliability remains an active validation issue; this is not a complete wearable conversation. - Local owner setup, per-cat records, Calendar, manual wellbeing entries, reviewed reports, care reminders and map/zone interfaces. - A complete experimental wearable microphone recording was received in full over mobile data and the received audio was reviewed as clear. This is a bounded recording-and-upload result, not continuous live audio or a complete wearable conversation. AWAITING CONNECTED VALIDATION - Validate response time, repeatable spoken exchanges and recovery on the physical exchange, building on the received microphone recording. Then evaluate longer idle periods, reconnect behaviour and noise. - Validate outdoor location freshness and accuracy, coverage gaps and active-unit assignment across swaps. A charging unit must not be treated as the cat's location or merged into its activity. - Measure the complete wearable's fit, heat, weight, runtime and waterproof performance. Proposed activity, rest and roaming insights depend on real worn-device telemetry, personal baselines and accuracy validation. Rest estimates are not proof of sleep; clinical effectiveness is unestablished. COMMERCIAL PREPARATION - Research intended customers, willingness to pay and reasons to return. Define a supervised pilot and its success criteria before claiming results. - Obtain current two-device and connectivity quotations. Measure actual voice/AI, media, storage and support costs across stated usage profiles. Historical cost scenarios are planning assumptions, not measured margins. - Prepare production access, recording/retention rules, support, supplier arrangements, company/ownership records and applicable launch requirements. PARTNER CONVERSATIONS Useful discussion areas include wearable engineering, connectivity, pilot delivery, customer experience and sustainable service operation. Specific responsibilities and commercial arrangements require agreement. The website enquiry allows an initial investor or partnership conversation. STATUS AND LIMITS This overview reflects reviewed project records through 7 October 2026; the review date is not a claim that every experiment was newly repeated. The full connected wearable system and commercial model remain unvalidated. No market-size claim, evidenced sales traction, fundraising amount, valuation, return forecast, investment offer or funding commitment is made. There are no committed milestone dates. Public copy remains a reviewable draft, and this downloaded file does not update automatically. NEXT STEP Use the Investors & partners enquiry on the BatCat website to discuss the product, evidence or a possible partnership. Registration is not an order, reservation or investment commitment. Enquiry contact permission and newsletter permission are separate choices. 7 OCTOBER 2026 FOLLOW-UP The project owner confirmed a correct spoken answer on the experimental wearable; it was very slow. A greeting was heard. A later saved-greeting test was silent/offline. Following a recovery update, the startup greeting was heard again but another wake request produced no answer; further physical checks are needed. Repeatability, acceptable response time, speaker clarity and sustained capture remain open. Source: the project owner’s development tests, 7 October 2026. This is component evidence, not launch readiness.
