Each cat is planned to have two complete devices: one worn, one charging. One cat means two devices; two cats means four; three or more cats means six or more.
Basic aims for the lowest practical cost. Intermediate improves device specifications. High-End is the premium direction. All three keep the same planned BatCat capabilities.
Character and connection, care organisation and connected exploration are all part of the product direction. Prices, final specifications and launch dates are unconfirmed.
05 / Made around your cat
The planned kit includes two complete interchangeable devices: one worn, one charging. The cat’s identity, voice and history stay with the cat when devices change.
The production brief is screenless and waterproof. Final size, fit, battery life and specifications are still being developed and tested.

A few good questions
BatCat is in development. This site introduces the product direction and provides a route to register interest. Confirmed prices, trial opportunities and purchase details will follow when ready.
No. The product direction does not rely on a cat pressing a button or using a screen. People interact with the advocate and the owner app.
No. BatCat’s care direction is intended to help people organise information and understand available observations. Veterinary diagnosis, emergency response and reliable live animal monitoring have not been established.
Development evidence includes human-tested Android voice conversations, local owner-app features and a complete experimental wearable microphone upload, reviewed as clear. Returned wearable speech, a complete physical conversation and validated animal monitoring remain open. Read the dated development updates for the scope of each result.
The planned kit lets one complete device charge while the other is worn. Identity, voice and history stay with the cat’s account. Battery endurance and connected swapping still need full validation.
The owner-app prototype gives each cat a separate Home, Calendar and records. The connected product direction includes a two-device kit for each cat; multi-cat production setup remains to be validated.
Basic aims for the lowest practical cost across the shared capabilities. Intermediate and High-End aim to improve device specifications and quality. Final differences and prices will follow testing.
Independent outdoor cellular connectivity is part of the device brief. Operation will depend on the final hardware, network coverage and service arrangement. Live connected operation still needs validation.
A BatCat service including connectivity is the planned model. Prices, data allowances and terms are being developed alongside customer research and measured delivery costs.
Final weight, fit and battery life have not been confirmed. They depend on the complete device and its use. Measured specifications will follow appropriate hardware and wearable testing.
The advocate is an AI character. It can respond using authorised records and available observations. Its speech and meows do not translate thoughts or prove how a cat feels.
